BIRD: Real-time patient monitoring 

BIRD is a digital solution for the real-time monitoring of your patients’ vital signs and activity, through a wearable device. With it, healthcare professionals have an alarm system that, along with internal and external sensor positioning, can help them to act immediately when dealing with convulsions, falls, cardiac arrhythmias, fever, or any other event that you want to enter onto the platform.  

BIRD devices collate data on a patient’s vital signs and physical activity, as well as the device’s accelerometer and battery level. The information is transmitted via Bluetooth to sensors installed inside and via GPS outside. Healthcare services can therefore continually manage the data and locate the patient at any given time via an algorithm developed by SENER.
