    Technology that enhances the flying experience

    An airport is one of the most complex infrastructures in the transportation field. They are projects of great technical and operational complexity that require a transversal knowledge of technologies. And all this always keeping in mind the safety and comfort of the people who transit, work and enjoy this kind of infrastructure. This has been demonstrated in more than 150 airports and their associated facilities, in Spain and abroad, developed with Sener technology.

    Airport Planning

    Our proven experience in airport planning includes:

    Passenger and Cargo Terminal Areas

    Terminal buildings are where multidisciplinary engineering services for airports are best expressed. At Sener, we have expert designers for both passenger and cargo terminal projects, including:

    • Specialists in structures and foundations, airport operations, specialists in HVAC, electrical, mechanical and fire-fighting installations, signage, communications and commercial areas.
    • Specialists in automated baggage systems, people movers, accesses and roadways, and parking buildings.

    TWR and other buildings

    We offer an extensive portfolio in commuter lines, encompassing both new generation projects and the adaptation of existing lines for integration into commuter networks.

    Our high-tech expertise is exemplified by the Regional and Commuter Rail Services (CRTS) Manual for the UIC, which provides a global overview of sustainable best practices in CRTS. Additionally, we have the Framework Agreement for signalling and communications projects for Adif’s Cercanías Plan.
