Graduated in Architecture, she soon became interested in graphic design and branding. What do you see as the key to accelerating gender equality?
In my opinion, gender equality is a journey that requires ongoing efforts from individuals, organizations, and governments at all levels. And it takes several steps or “keys” to accelerating this process, one of such that comes to my mind is that to insure to invest more in women’s leadership and participation, by supporting them through their rights into equal education, as well as in leadership positions across various sectors, from politics and business to academia and civil society, ensure their voices are heard and their perspectives are incorporated into decision-making processes. This action would shed more light on our rights as women and enhance our duties in society. It would also help raise awareness of issues of equality and the gender gap and accelerate its closing.
We must ensure greater investment in women’s leadership and participation and guarantee that their voices are heard and their perspectives are incorporated into decision-making processes.
What do you think is the biggest challenge for women in these times?
Challenges vary greatly depending on factors such as location and socio-economic background, but I believe that the common challenge beyond these factors is the lack of equality or lack of adequate appreciation in duties and responsibilities between men and women. In many cases, women are still viewed as less than men and that their duties are limited to the home and education. This has generated many problems in various societies, such as violence and abuse.
How should society accompany them?
The duty of the society should be by accompany women through their challenges, giving equal contribution and tasks to both genders, addressing unconscious bias in workplaces, enacting, and enforcing laws that protect women from violence, providing support services for survivors, and raising awareness about the issue are crucial steps towards creating a safer environment for all. Also, by challenging harmful stereotypes through education, media campaigns, and public discourse can help create a more inclusive society that values and respects women’s contributions.

What are the challenges and opportunities women face when they enter the professional world?
In general, entering the professional world presents both challenges and opportunities for women. While they may face obstacles like gender bias, the pay gap, and work-life balance struggles, they also encounter a growing demand for diverse talent, the rise of flexible work arrangements, and a surge in support networks and initiatives. Additionally, women are increasingly finding success in entrepreneurship and leveraging technology to their advantage in a world with heightened awareness of gender equality. While challenges persist, the landscape is evolving, offering women exciting opportunities to gain more success in different aspects.
In terms of your background, what attracted you to your profession? In a future vision, in what areas would you like to develop professionally, what challenges do you see for yourself?
I started out as an Architect and then I started learning more about graphic design and branding. Having honed my skills in shaping physical spaces, I’m drawn to graphic design’s ability to translate those concepts into captivating visual narratives, weaving together form and function in a new and exciting way. And as a designer at Sener, I’m thrilled to bridge my architectural background with design expertise. In the future I want to gain more experience and development in my field. I would also like to dive more into business and marketing development. What may be a challenge I think is the rapid and fast technology and AI development, and how I will use this development to help me develop more.
My inspiration comes from the women in my family, such as my mother, and the women in my country in general with courage and a constant desire to live and continue to achieve equality and a fair life between the both genders, at all levels.
Finally, what advice would you give to a young woman starting out in her professional life? Can you name a woman who has inspired you?
I can’t really give advice as I’m still starting my professional life myself but from my very short experience, I can say that no matter what difficulties one might face, once sorting out their ideas it will all turn out well .
As for women I can’t put a specific name as all the women with their experiences and challenges can be an inspiration; in Architecture, there are several successful, inspiring women, like Zaha Hadid for instance; for me, my inspiration comes from the women in my family, such as my mother, and the women in my country in general with courage and a constant desire to live and continue to achieve equality and a fair life between the both genders, at all levels.
