- The mind behind the project

What inspired you to pursue a career in the space industry?
My interest in the space industry comes from an innate curiosity, a fascination with the unknown, and the satisfaction I have always had in creating something new and solving problems.
Working in the space industry means constantly bumping up against barriers and problems that need to be solved. Technological problems, logistical problems and time constraints are a common day in “space.” In my opinion, this is one of the leading industries in which one can demonstrate creativity and tenacity in pursuit of goals – even those seemingly unattainable or even sometimes perceived as infantile.
What aspects of space projects are most fascinating to you?
What really attracts me about space projects is their complex nature and the challenges of space exploration. The process of designing advanced space devices and the scientific research we can do in space are a constant source of inspiration for me.
Working in the space industry means constantly bumping up against barriers and problems that need to be solved.
What innovations do you think have the potential to revolutionize the space industry?
I believe that the key innovations for the future of the space industry are the development of increasingly cost-effective launch systems, the development of new and more efficient space propulsion systems, the application of artificial intelligence to Earth observation, among others. In addition, for the dynamic development of the space industry, change and development in the field of awareness is essential. The most relevant aspects in this regard are the inspiration of new generations through, for example, manned flights, the popularization of space-related sciences; and the development of a sense of responsibility for space. By this I mean, first and foremost, responsibility for the Earth’s orbit and the development of technology and a systemic approach to space mission planning for the disposal of debris left behind after a mission.
What career goals related to space engineering would you like to achieve in the future?
My professional goals in the field of space engineering include participation in increasingly advanced space projects, especially those aimed at developing revolutionary technological solutions. I would also like to be increasingly active in the development of the space industry in Poland.
Przemysław Rudzinski joined the Sener Polska team in 2023. He holds the position of Project Manager for the Comet MGSE and Forum MGSE projects. Previously, he held the position of Project Manager at PIAP Space, where he participated in MGSE projects for the ROSE-L mission, among others. He is also active on the Space Generation Advisory Council (eng. SGAC), where he is responsible for representing SGAC in Poland, developing the organization’s structures among students and young professionals, and connecting SGAC with space organizations in Poland.
