Conceptual design and feasability study of Bluwind Pozzallo Offshore Wind Farm

Sener is involved in the Conceptual design of the Bluwind Pozzalo Offshore Wind Farm. The OWF, with a total capacity of 975MW, is located in the Malta Channel 55 kilometres off the town of Pozzallo, Sicilia. The project includes the analysis of the turbines, the floating foundations, the inter-array cables, the offshore substations (fix or floating solution), the export cable, the landfall solution, the onshore substation and the connection to the TERNA grid connection point.

The conceptual design includes the analysis of alternatives, preliminary CAPEX estimations, conceptual design report of the proposed solution, preparation of drawings and Single Line Diagram, logistic arrangements analysis, preparation of Environmental assessment and surveys technical specifications and technical tabulations of the received proposals.
