Standard Interface for Robotic Manipulation (SIROM)

SIROM (Standard Interface for RObotic Manipulation of payloads in future space missions) is the concept developed by Sener to cover all aspects related to in-orbit servicing and modular constructions (large mirrors or complete satellites) based on the “building block” approach.

SIROM is an “intelligent” and multifunctional robotic interface that can be used both in orbital and planetary applications. The developed technology is based on the standardization and modularization of the different components in an integrated way (where mechanical, thermal, electrical and data connections are combined) or individually.
