    We invest in and develop integral and innovative renewable projects

    DEVELOPMENT, PROMOTION AND INVESTMENT

    At Sener Renewable Investments, we are heavily involved in the promoting, designing, constructing, implementing and financing the projects, as well as the subsequent operation and maintenance thereof. The first step is to conceptualize and analyze the opportunity, as well as attract partners to our projects. We are also in an excellent position to get onboard and complement other projects that are already underway.

    Development

    At Sener Renewable Investments, our projects cover the entire value chain. Our commitment ranges from promotion to design, construction, operation and maintenance, and financing. We identify opportunities from the outset, investing our own capital and developing them all the way through to commercial operation.  

    We deal with the key aspects of a project as the way to achieve the success:  

    • The final use and/or sale of the product created. 
    • The primary resources needed for the project such as sun, wind, water, biomass and waste. 
    • External electrical, water or gas connections. 
    • The involvement of each project’s social environment. 

    We form strategic partnerships with local developers to support and accelerate new opportunities. 

    We handle the processing of permits to execute the project in accordance with all administrative and environmental procedures. 

    In the execution phase, our team comes up with the best financial strategy with the aim of creating fundable and ready-to-build projects, and, further down the line, is able to negotiate for PPA, EPC, EPCM, O&M and investment and financing project models.  

    We have the technical backing of the Sener Group and its international project experience in the energy and infrastructure industries. Our matrix structure allows us to leverage and share proven technologies and tools from all fields of engineering to be applied in new ones. We also offer the full range of services that address multidisciplinary needs to successfully complete integrated projects. 

    Merger & Acquisition

    Sener Renewable Investments is the branch of the Sener Group that invests in renewable and sustainable projects that face up to the current challenge of the energy transition.  

    We focus on emerging technologies and applications, as well as highly-innovative projects: from technology demonstrator projects to those that have been around for years. 

    Our track record and team give us the tools to spot opportunities and technically and financially validate them with a view to continuing to promote and invest in them.

    Green hydrogen

    We invest in the development of innovative solutions to promote green hydrogen to transform industrial processes and become more sustainable. Green hydrogen is an essential energy vector towards the energy transition, as stated in the European Green Deal and the Renewable Hydrogen Roadmap in Spain.

    Offshore wind

    We foster new offshore wind projects calling on the extensive offshore wind resource that is the sea. To do so, we draw on our one-of-a-kind experience in the fields of offshore wind energy and marine engineering.

    Solar and storage

    For more than a decade, we have been committed to the energy transition to renewable energies. In solar energy, we have implemented pioneering solar thermal power plants that have demonstrated the effectiveness of our technological solutions.

    Circular economy

    As part of our commitment to sustainability, we identify solutions that foster the shift towards a circular economy, a model that extends the life of resources while cutting down on waste.
