    Our history spans more than 500 different port projects, in more than 140 ports in 40 countries. We cover all areas of engineering and consulting (from planning to design and construction oversight), in addition to carrying out comprehensive projects with a particularly high degree of technical complexity that encompass all the required areas such as maritime, civil, geotechnical, architecture and facilities and systems.     Marine works

    Our trajectory in the design and construction oversight of marine engineering projects has led us to participate in the development of large port projects throughout the world, with experience in:

    • Designing large scale breakwaters, both sloped and vertical. Of the latter, we have designed more than 15 km of breakwaters and docks, using prefabricated reinforced concrete caissons, in more than 50 different projects in 30 ports and 7 countries.
    • Designing embankment dikes with protective facing, formed by different types of blocks such as cubes, cubipods, acropods, tetrapods, etc.
    • Design and construction oversight of different types of docks: concrete caissons, piles, sheet piles, blocks, barriers, covered dock, etc.

    Port Terminals

    Our experience working on all types of terminals has provided us with knowledge of the unique features of the design of infrastructures for the docking, loading, unloading and handling of any type of goods.

    Thanks to our technological and multidisciplinary nature, we have become experts in terminals associated with loading and unloading, the transport and distribution of containers, solid and liquid bulk, cruise ships, ro-ro and ro-pax, among others. For this reason, we can undertake specialized services including:

    Smartports

    In the last decade, we have applied state-of-the-art technologies to projects related to improving port operations to form a smartport. Some of them, co-financed by public administrations in R&D calls, have allowed us to gain experience and capabilities in:

    • Functional design of the architecture of systems that constitute a smartport.
    • Development of port systems.
    • Development of management tools for port synchromodality that integrate the operations of ships, trains and trucks.

    Coasts and Waterways

    A significant part of our projects contain proposals for specific solutions to coastal problems, including the fight against erosion, the prevention and fight against marine pollution, and the planning and sustainable management of the coast. These solutions are as follows:
