This project is aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which seeks to transform the airport sector into a global benchmark in terms of sustainability and efficiency. In addition, by updating these masterplans, MATARAT Holding will have advanced tools for strategic planning and decision making, enabling it to advance Saudi Arabia’s national aviation strategy, attract global investment and strengthen the country’s position as a regional and international aviation hub.
An airport is one of the most complex and critical infrastructures in the field of transport infrastructures. At Sener, we have led and taken part in projects in more than 190 airports around the world (United States, Mexico, Peru, Ireland, Spain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Australia, UAE, Brazil…), as well as in their associated facilities, applying cutting-edge technology and our transversal capabilities in areas such as planning and operational studies, aerodromes, control towers, passenger and cargo terminals, facilities such as heliports or hangars, security, navigation systems, airport systems or flight operations engineering, among others.
