High Gain Antenna Gimbal (HGAG) for the rover Perseverance of the Mars 2020 mission
We provided front-end engineering design (FEED) services for the CO2next project, led by Vopak, Gasunie, Shell, and TotalEnergies.
Strategically located at Maasvlakte in the Port of Rotterdam, Netherlands, this terminal is among the first in Europe dedicated to the storage and transport of liquid CO₂, supporting carbon reduction initiatives.
The CO2next terminal offers an efficient solution for the supply and shipping of liquid CO₂ by vessel, aiming to meet the needs of various European markets. Its strategic location enables direct access to key infrastructure, such as pipelines and CO₂ storage facilities, particularly the Aramis installations, facilitating integrated and safe logistics for CO₂ management in the region.
At Sener, we are contributing to this project by overseeing the FEED phase of front-end engineering design services. Our work encompasses the complete design of the future terminal, from the initial reception of CO₂ by ship via jetties, to its subsequent storage in spheres, management of boil-off gas, and pumping to the PORTHOS-Aramis interconnection for ultimate offshore storage in the North Sea.
