Sener has signed a framework agreement with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, the government agency responsible for defence procurement on behalf of the Swedish Armed Forces, for the supply of target drones to the Vidsel Test Range in Sweden. The agreement, awarded through a public tender process, includes an initial contract for the delivery of MOAI units, with deliveries scheduled for the end of the year.

This collaboration marks the addition of a new international client for Sener and reinforces the company’s expansion strategy in the European defence market. It also demonstrates the confidence placed by leading public institutions in the technological solutions developed by Sener for advanced training, testing and defence capability evaluation applications. The scope of the agreement includes the supply of MOAI, ALBA and SCRAB III units, as well as the necessary training to enable Swedish personnel responsible for their operation.

With this contract, Sener further consolidates its position as a European supplier in the target drone sector. The company provides platforms designed to support defence training, testing and capability validation through the simulation of real-world threats, such as aircraft and missiles, while contributing to operational readiness and the calibration of air defence systems.

Autonomous multi-purpose platform capabilities

Sener develops modular, programmable and interoperable platforms, combining expertise in unmanned systems, avionics and mission simulation within their designs. In this context, SIROCO represents Sener’s programme for the development of a new generation of autonomous, multi-purpose platforms. Under a single technological vision, SIROCO brings together a family of aircraft initially conceived as targets for the evaluation and calibration of air defence systems, with the potential to evolve into operational platforms. As part of this programme, Sener is developing solutions based on high autonomy, high speed, low observability and interoperability, including the SRC-100 Razor.
