Sener presents RAZOR, its next generation multipurpose autonomous platform, globally at the World Defense Show in Saudi Arabia

09/02/2026

At the World Defense Show, currently taking place in Riyadh, Sener has unveiled its next generation multipurpose autonomous platform, the SRC 100 Razor, designed to meet today’s operational needs of the armed forces. With this launch, Sener strengthens its position as an international leader in the development and production of autonomous systems and remote carriers.

Razor, manufactured entirely in Spain and weighing just 150 kilograms, represents a new generation of high-performance recoverable aerial vehicles. Combining advanced engineering with robust, secure communications that ensure reliable connectivity in highly demanding environments, Razor is also capable of fully autonomous operation, even in GNSS denied scenarios. Thanks to its low observability design, Razor stands out both as an advanced aerial target and as an autonomous platform able to carry out ISR missions, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, and or precision operations.

Designed for mass deployment, the platform incorporates a parachute recovery system, making it a cost-effective option for high-risk operations and well suited to modern attritable strategies, as it can be employed even in missions with a high probability of loss.

Strengthening Sener’s industrial capability

The launch of the SRC 100 Razor, the first system within the SIROCO project, comes just a few months after Sener’s acquisition of SCR, Sistemas de Control Remoto, a move that has significantly expanded its capabilities in autonomous systems, target drones and unmanned platforms. The integration has accelerated the consolidation of the company’s autonomous systems portfolio and reinforced its ability to scale the production of advanced solutions.

This technological momentum is accompanied by substantial growth in the group’s industrial infrastructure. The recent refurbishment and expansion of the Arganda del Rey site in Madrid, together with the construction of new facilities in Zamudio, Bizkaia, will enable Sener to exceed 40,000 square metres dedicated exclusively to space and defence, doubling its current footprint. These centres will include clean rooms, test benches and advanced production lines, consolidating the driving industrial capacity required to deliver major strategic programmes in the aerospace and defence domains.

Rafael Orbe, Sener’s Defence General Manager, stated: “The SRC 100 Razor has been designed to deliver an immediate and flexible solution, capable of adapting to requirements that are evolving at great speed. Sener reaffirms its commitment to modern defence, aligned with the strategic challenges of the coming decades.”
