We develop technologies for the space sector
Polish Engineering in Space Missions
We have been operating in Poland since 2006 as part of the international Sener Group. For over a decade, we have been developing advanced mechanical engineering for the space sector. We actively participate in the European Space Agency’s (ESA) most important projects and collaborate with leading companies and research centers in Poland and abroad. We combine local scientific potential with the Group’s global experience, enabling Polish solutions to reach orbit and support Europe’s most important scientific missions.
Despite the relatively short time since Poland joined ESA in 2012, Sener in Poland has emerged as a key player in the nation’s space sector. They have contributed to significant projects such as ExoMars, Proba-3, Euclid, E.Deorbit, Saocom-CS, Athena, and JUICE missions.
We actively participate in the European Space Agency’s (ESA) most important projects and collaborate with leading companies and research centers in Poland and abroad. We combine local scientific potential with the Group’s global experience, enabling Polish solutions to reach orbit and support Europe’s most important scientific missions.
We develop precision space mechanisms – from the conceptual phase through full qualification and delivery. We offer comprehensive support: design, analysis, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and environmental testing. We focus on delivering solar panel and antenna deployment systems, which are critical for power and communication in orbit, as well as docking systems that enable the connection of instruments in space. Another important pillar of our business is supporting and releasing mechanisms, which ensure the safety of research mechanisms during launch and their precise activation during the mission.
PROBA is a space program managed by ESA for the in-orbit demonstration of platform and payload technologies. PROBA-3 aims to demonstrate precise formation flying technologies.
The mission consists of two small spacecrafts of 350 kg and 200 kg flying in a formation with relative position control accuracy of less than 1 mm.
The Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) is a joint ESA/NASA mission to detect and observe gravitational waves in space and thus verify Einsteins General Theory of Relativity.

Beatriz Pérez, General Manager of Sener in Poland.
Graduated from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and the University of Alcalá de Henares in Madrid, her experience is mainly focused on the creation and development of software for ground support systems. During her previous work at Sener Aeroespacial, she has participated, among other projects, in ground support systems for the MTG and ExoMars missions and in the development of navigation systems.
